My daughter was my first Utah County cake smash in my new studio!
I’m kind of in denial that my little lady is getting so big! I can’t believe my baby is one! To celebrate, we decided to put together a cake smash for her one year pictures. I love this sweet girl and how her pictures turned out!
I absolutely love this little pink lace romper, and designed the setup for her pictures around it. We started out by giving her a little “1” to hold, but she didn’t stay still very long with that. Then we brought the cake in, and that kept her attention a little longer.
Utah County Cake Smash
My son wasn’t very interested in his one year cake smash, so I didn’t think my daughter would be into it that much. (He was way more interested in charging for Mommy’s camera.) She is definitely my daughter, though, because she LOVED her chocolate cake!
She obviously enjoyed her first cake, because she got it all over herself and the setup. (Check out that cake face!)
After she had some time with her cake by herself, we let brother join in on the birthday festivities! It was so cute to see her sharing her cake with Brother (and feeding it to him). Brother fed her some cake, too, because sharing is caring.
I love how cute these two are together! They melt my mom heart with how good they are to each other! She adores her brother, and follows to try to do everything he does. He is always looking out for her and making sure she stays safe.
Having a one year old is such a fun stage! I love that I’ve started to see her personality come out as she explores the world around her! It’s so fun to document this sweet time in her life!
