Remember the Hardy family from last fall? (To check out their family session, click here.) Well, today I get to share Miss Hardy’s First Birthday Session with you, and I’m so excited!

I was giddy when Alisha asked me for a birthday session for her little girl! I loved working with her sweet family a few months ago, and couldn’t wait to get her adorable kids into my studio! Alisha is such a sweetheart, and so easy to talk to. I love hanging out with her! Her cute kids have such fun personalities that made for quite the entertainment! Their entire family has these gorgeous blue eyes that I could photograph all day! All around, they were just such a joy to have in my studio.

Miss Hardy’s First Birthday Session

Alisha had the cutest little white wicker chair that she wanted to use, and I’m so glad she brought it! Apparently they had used it in pictures when her son turned one, so they wanted to use it again in the pictures for Miss Hardy’s first birthday. The little lady looked so cute perched up in her little chair! She loved climbing onto it just so she could climb back down.

She also loved putting balloons into my little metal washtub. When it was full, the balloons would bounce back out, and she would go chase them down to try to put them back in. She also loved sticking her little hand through the handle. She though it was so cool that it fit right through.

While she took a snack break, I got Brother in front of my camera, too! He is such a handsome little dude, and gave me the sweetest shy smile while he was getting warmed up.

When little Miss Hardy was ready to get back in, we got some really sweet images of them together. The little lady loved doing whatever her brother did, and they both loved watching the bubbles glide to the floor.
