In today’s post, I want to express my love and gratitude for my awesome husband. His birthday and our anniversary have had me thinking about how lucky I am to have him. Prepare for a mushy post (or skip down to the pictures), because today is all about my amazing husband Spencer.
First and most importantly, Spencer is an incredible husband and father. I love watching him play with our son, and seeing the way our little boy adores him. Spencer is such a great role model, and it makes my heart happy to see how our son looks up to him. Our little boy wants to be just like his daddy, and I just love it!
My husband is quick to notice needs and fill them. He always makes sure his family is taken care of, and puts others before himself. He is a hard worker, and does far more than his share to help things run smoothly.
Spencer is the kind of husband who lets me have the last cinnamon roll (even though it’s his) just because he knows I would enjoy it. He knows that I reach for a Reeses on hard days, so he makes sure we keep some in the pantry.
Spencer is hilarious and can make me laugh even when I don’t want to. He helps me laugh at myself when I’m being ridiculous. He helps keep me grounded and realistic.
My husband is so smart. Between his natural intelligence and his hard work, I’m convinced that he could accomplish anything he really wanted to. Even when he doesn’t catch onto something right away, he continues to work at it until he excels.
Spencer is the most Christlike person I know. He is thoughtful, kind, and serves others. He is my best friend, and I’m so glad to have him as my husband.
We have been married for six years now. I’m so glad to have him by my side. In six years, our love has grown deeper and more complete than I could have ever imagined when we were getting married. I love him and the little family we have created with all my heart!
