Last Fall, my husband bought our son a baby fedora. I thought it was so cute, that I made them both dress up and go out to get some pictures. Is there anything more adorable than a little boy in a fedora and overalls? Unfortunately, it didn’t take him long to decide he didn’t want to wear the fedora, which makes it ironic that now he likes to put hats on when we are just hanging around the house. Oh well, we had fun anyway!
Exploring was much more fun than letting Daddy hold this guy. When we tried to get pictures up with Daddy, all we got was a grumpy face. This little man loved running up and down the boardwalk. He also wanted to investigate all the pokey weeds, but we were able to deter him before he hurt himself. This guy found lots of rocks and sticks, and he wanted Daddy to be able to enjoy them too. It was fun to watch this little boy present his treasures to his daddy.
I guess coming home with clean overalls was a bit too much to ask. Sitting in the dirt and rocks then scooting your little bum around is WAAY too much fun to pass up on. It’s all about making memories, right? And with these images, I can always look back and remember when he was the little boy in a fedora and overalls.
I can’t believe how fast my little man is growing up! It seems like everyday he is learning or doing something new. Each day is a new adventure, and it’s exciting to see all his growth and development. If time could just slow down, though, that would be great! I don’t want to miss a single minute with this amazing family of mine!
